Rice uses very high-quality melamine that is reusable, long-lasting, durable, sustainable and free from bisphenol A and phthalates. It has also been tested by the DVFA (Danish Veterinary and Food Administration) and approved as food safe.

Melamine is a durable material that will bring you joy for a long time with optimal handling. However, it is not unbreakable and can break if subjected to external force. Please note that the material may wear out over time, become dull and lose its strength. This can be the case, for example, if the melamine product has been exposed to hard impacts (e.g. fallen to the floor), frequent dishwasher use and contact with great heat over a long period of time. Please check your products regularly for cracks and dispose of them if you find any damage. Melamine products are not suitable for the microwave, freezer and temperatures above 70° degrees. Melamine can be cleaned in a standard dishwasher at 60° to 70° degrees.
