Melamine is a practical, robust and durable material that is ideal for children. Rice uses very high quality melamine that is reusable, long-lasting, resistant, sustainable and free of bisphenol A and phthalates. It has also been tested by the DVFA (Danish Veterinary and Food Administration) and approved as food safe.

Melamine is a durable material that will bring you joy for a long time if handled optimally. However, it is not shatterproof and can break if subjected to external force. Please note that the material can wear out, become dull and lose its strength over time. This can be the case, for example, if the melamine product has been exposed to hard impacts (e.g. dropped on the floor), frequent use in the dishwasher and contact with high heat over a longer period of time. Please check your products regularly for cracks and dispose of them if you find any damage. Melamine products are not suitable for microwave, freezer and temperatures above 70° Celsius. Melamine can be cleaned in a standard dishwasher at 60° to 70° Celsius.
