This can happen, for example, if the melamine product has been exposed to hard impacts for a long period (e.g., dropped on the floor), frequent use of the dishwasher, and contact with high heat. Please check your products regularly for cracks and dispose of them if you find any damage. Melamine products are not suitable for the microwave, freezer, or temperatures above 70° Celsius. Melamine can be cleaned in a standard dishwasher at 60° to 70° Celsius.
