Melamine is a durable material that will give you long-lasting pleasure if handled optimally. However, it is not unbreakable and can break when subjected to external force. Please note that the material can wear out over time, become dull and lose its strength. This can be the case, for example, if the melamine product has been exposed to hard impacts for a long period of time (e.g. falling on the floor), frequent dishwasher use and contact with great heat. Please check your products regularly for cracks and dispose of them if you find any damage. Melamine products are not suitable for the microwave, freezer and temperatures above 70° Celsius. Melamine can be cleaned in a standard dishwasher at 60° to 70° Celsius.
