Melamine is a durable material that will last a long time with optimal handling. However, it is not unbreakable and can break when subjected to external force. Please note that the material can wear out over time, become dull and lose its strength. This can happen, for example, if the melamine product has been exposed to hard impacts (e.g. dropped on the floor), frequent use of the dishwasher and contact with high heat for a long period of time. Please check your products regularly for cracks and dispose of them if you find any damage. Melamine products are not suitable for microwaves, freezers and temperatures above 70°C. Melamine can be cleaned in a standard dishwasher at 60° to 70°C.
