Moonboon Kapok Mattress for Cradle Natural

The kapok mattress is made from natural, organic, and sustainable kapok fibers from the kapok tree, also known as the silk cotton tree. The mattress is 35 cm wide and 90 cm long and is designed for use with the Moonboon spring cradle. The kapok mattress must not be washed. For the fibers of the mattress, it is sufficient to air them outdoors once a month.

Kapok fibers contain about 80% air, making them the lightest natural fibers in the world — about eight times lighter than ordinary cotton. The absorbed air in the fibers makes kapok an insulating and thermoregulating material that will guarantee your baby a comfortable sleep.

Kapok fibers naturally contain wax, lignin, and bitter substances. Thus, kapok is the only material that is naturally resistant to mold and pesticides. The antibacterial properties also mean that dust mites cannot survive, making kapok particularly suitable for babies.
