Since Minimalisma's silk products are hand-reeled, slight variations in the fabric are visible – this is a sign of quality. With proper care, your silk garment will maintain its luxurious look and pleasant feel for a long time.
Silk is a protein – much like your hair. Silk is also naturally flame-retardant, and care is very simple: wash your silk garment in the washing machine on the silk/wool program at 30 degrees, delicate cycle. Use a mild silk detergent. Turn the garment inside out and use a laundry bag.
Remove stains by spraying a mixture of two tablespoons of white vinegar and half a liter of water. Gently work the mixture into the stain and wash the garment as usual.
After washing, fold the damp garment once in the direction of the ribs and gently pull it into shape. Dry your garment by laying it flat on a towel. Let it air dry at room temperature and avoid direct sunlight.
