Farrow & Ball Wood Primer & Undercoat White and Light Tones

This primer for woodwork for both interior and exterior use offers a protective and breathable base for use in combination with Exterior Eggshell or Full Gloss. For an optimal finish, the shade of the primer is crucial. 

DEEPER COLOURS

Primers are available in four shades: White & Light Tones, Mid Tones, Red & Warm Tones, and Dark Tones. Each primer contains a carefully formulated blend of pigments that provides an initial layer of colour on the wall. Only with the correct primer do our colours achieve their characteristic depth and luminosity, right down to the undertones.

EXCEPTIONAL COVERAGE

Because they are formulated with the same rich pigments and on the proven water-based formula, primers ensure that the paint adheres perfectly to the substrate. This creates a soft, even finish – and the paint also achieves its enormous yield and exceptional coverage.

IMPROVED ADHESION AND DURABILITY

Farrow & Ball paints are highly efficient when applied to the appropriate primer coat. The primer ensures that the paint adheres optimally to the substrate and lasts a long time. The surface retains its colour intensity and beauty for longer, so you don't have to repaint as often.

It is recommended to use the appropriate primers whenever you paint with Farrow & Ball colours. It brings out the colours optimally. In addition, you are on the safe side if you work within the system and only use products from one manufacturer. This avoids any problems that may arise due to incompatibility.

For a perfect paint application, we recommend the following procedure:

• 0.75l covers approx. 9m², 2.5l covers approx. 30m²
• One coat of Primer & Undercoat in the recommended shade. (You can find the correct primer, for example, on the back of our colour card or on our corresponding product page online.)
• Two coats of your chosen colour.

This product is excluded from the right of withdrawal according to section 8.2 sentence 1 of the GTC.
