This darkest shade of brown is named after the craftsmen who have been tanning leather for centuries. In low light, Tanner's Brown appears almost black, but creates a softer feel than pure black. It looks great on fireplaces, is often used outdoors, and with its warm reddish undertones, it can enhance both a modern loft apartment and a historic farmhouse.
The matte, wipe- and abrasion-resistant, mold- and water-resistant Modern Emulsion paint is suitable for heavily used walls and ceilings. Bathrooms, kitchens, hallways, and other high-traffic areas can be painted with Modern Emulsion, which has an abrasion resistance rating of Class 1. This paint is also very suitable for children's rooms.
