Primers are available in four shades: White & Light Tones, Mid Tones, Red & Warm Tones, and Dark Tones. Each primer contains a carefully designed blend of pigments that creates a first layer of color on the wall. Only with the right primer can our paints achieve their characteristic depth and radiance, even in the undertones.
EXCEPTIONAL COVERAGE
Because they are formulated with the same rich pigments and based on our proven water-based formula, primers ensure that the paint adheres perfectly to the surface. This creates a soft, even finish – and also gives the paint its enormous yield and exceptional coverage.
IMPROVED ADHESION AND DURABILITY
Farrow & Ball paints are highly efficient when applied over the appropriate primer coat. The primer ensures optimal adhesion of the paint to the surface and long-lasting results. The surface remains color-intensive and beautiful for longer, meaning you need to repaint less often.
Using the primer
It is recommended to use the appropriate primers whenever you are painting with a Farrow & Ball color. It enhances the colors optimally. Additionally, you are on the safe side when working within the system and using only products from one manufacturer. This helps you avoid any problems that may arise from incompatibility.
