Dix Blue is named after one of Farrow & Ball's first stockists, who was based in East England at the time. Like many of our blue shades, Dix Blue is based on a large proportion of green pigments, which creates a versatile colour. A small amount of black pigments gives our classic a relaxed vintage character. This creates a look that is also suitable for upcycled furniture, wood panelling or living room walls.
The matt, wipeable, abrasion-resistant, mould and water-resistant Modern Emulsion paint is suitable for heavily used walls and ceilings. Bathrooms, kitchens, hallways and other busy areas can be painted with Modern Emulsion, which has an abrasion resistance of class 1. This paint is also very suitable for children's rooms.
