Calamine is a shade that evokes childhood memories. The color is named after the zinc ointment formerly applied to minor injuries and rashes. Its pink appearance is softened by a hint of black pigments. Calamine thus provides freshness without being too childlike. In smaller rooms, it appears more intense, while with more space and light, it creates a subdued feel-good atmosphere.
The matte, wipeable, scrubbable, mold- and water-resistant Modern Emulsion paint is suitable for high-traffic walls and ceilings. Bathrooms, kitchens, hallways, and other busy areas can be painted with Modern Emulsion, which has a class 1 scrub resistance. This paint is also very suitable for children's rooms.
