This mid-century green hue is a darker version of the popular archival color Olive. It appeals to those who enjoy being surrounded by stronger colors, lending their spaces a calm and serene atmosphere – especially when paired with soft pinks and browns. The name is inspired by Japanese tea leaves and, much like a good cup of green tea, conveys a sense of tranquility and security.
The matte, wipeable, abrasion-resistant, mold and water-resistant Modern Emulsion paint is suitable for high-traffic walls and ceilings. Bathrooms, kitchens, hallways, and other busy areas can be painted with Modern Emulsion, which has a Class 1 abrasion resistance rating. This paint is also ideal for children's rooms.
