Mahogany owes its name to the color of the wood that artisans like Thomas Chippendale masterfully used to create furniture. It is rich in warm undertones that give it a special depth. The almost burnt-looking brown pigments create cozy retreats that envelop rooms in an almost earthy darkness. It is often used with Dead Salmon to highlight historical artworks and antique furniture.
The matte, wipeable and abrasion-resistant, mold and water-resistant Modern Emulsion paint is suitable for heavily used walls and ceilings. Bathrooms, kitchens, hallways and other high-traffic areas can be painted with Modern Emulsion, which has abrasion resistance class 1. This paint can also be used very well for children's rooms.
