Primers are available in four shades: White & Light Tones, Mid Tones, Red & Warm Tones, and Dark Tones. Each primer contains a carefully formulated blend of pigments that creates an initial color layer on the wall. Only with the correct primer can our colors achieve their characteristic depth and luminosity, right down to the undertones.
EXCEPTIONAL COVERAGE
Because they are designed with the same rich pigments and proven water-based formula, primers ensure that the paint adheres perfectly to the substrate. This creates a soft, even finish and also gives the paint its enormous yield and exceptional coverage.
IMPROVED ADHESION AND DURABILITY
Farrow & Ball paints are very economical when applied to the appropriate primer coat. The primer ensures that the paint adheres optimally to the substrate and lasts a long time. The surface retains its color intensity and beauty for longer, so you have to repaint less often.
Using the Primer
It is recommended to use the appropriate primers whenever you are painting with a Farrow & Ball paint. They bring out the best in the colors. Furthermore, you are on the safe side when working within the system and only using products from one manufacturer. This avoids any problems that may arise from incompatibility.
