Specially developed for use with Estate Emulsion and Modern Emulsion, the primer, with its natural ingredients and rich pigments, is the essential base for an even and long-lasting color result.
Advantages of the Primer
DEEPER COLORS
Primers are available in four shades: White & Light Tones (light), Mid Tones (medium tones), Red & Warm Tones (red), and Dark Tones (dark). Each primer contains a carefully formulated blend of pigments that creates a first layer of color on the wall. Only with the right primer do our colors achieve their characteristic depth and luminosity down to the undertones.
EXCEPTIONAL COVERAGE
Because they are formulated with the same rich pigments and on a proven water basis, primers ensure that the paint adheres perfectly to the substrate. This creates the soft, even finish – and the paint also achieves its enormous yield and exceptional coverage.
IMPROVED ADHESION AND DURABILITY
Farrow & Ball paints are very effective when applied to the appropriate primer layer. The primer ensures that the paint adheres optimally to the surface and lasts a long time. The surface retains its color intensity and beauty for longer, so you have to repaint less often.
Using the Primer
It is recommended to use the appropriate primers whenever you paint with a Farrow & Ball color. It brings out the colors optimally. You are also on the safe side if you work within the system and only use products from one manufacturer. This avoids any problems that may arise due to incompatibility.
