Specially developed for use with Estate Emulsion and Modern Emulsion, the primer, with its natural ingredients and rich pigments, is the essential base for an even and long-lasting color result.

DEEPER COLORS
Primers are available in four shades: White & Light Tones, Mid Tones, Red & Warm Tones, and Dark Tones. Each primer contains a carefully formulated blend of pigments that creates an initial layer of color on the wall. Only with the correct primer can our colors achieve their characteristic depth and luminosity, right down to the undertones.
EXCEPTIONAL COVERAGE
Because they are formulated with the same rich pigments and on the proven water-based formula, primers ensure that the paint adheres perfectly to the surface. This creates a soft, even finish – and the paint also achieves its enormous yield and exceptional coverage.
IMPROVED ADHESION AND DURABILITY
Farrow & Ball paints are very economical when applied to the appropriate primer coat. The primer ensures that the paint adheres optimally to the surface and lasts a long time. The surface remains color-intensive and beautiful for longer, so you have to repaint less often.
Using the primer
It is recommended to use the appropriate primers whenever you paint with Farrow & Ball paint. It brings out the colors optimally. You are also on the safe side when you work within the system and only use products from one manufacturer. This avoids any problems that can arise from incompatibility.
For a perfect paint application, we recommend the following procedure:
