A warm, dark brown shade

Mahogany owes its name to the color of the wood that artisans like Thomas Chippendale so masterfully used to create furniture. It is rich in warm undertones that give it a special depth. The almost burnt-looking brown pigments create cozy retreats that envelop rooms in an almost earthy darkness. It is often used with Dead Salmon to highlight historical artworks and antique furniture.
