The two-part name combines Salon, the English term for the small outer room of a Salon (Drawing Room), and Drab, a term popular among true colourists that simply describes a colour lacking luminosity. The depth of this colour immediately appeals to you and creates the classic 19th-century feeling in the home, being the perfect "chocolate colour" for a modern look. This warm drab colour serves as a dark companion for both yellow and red-based neutrals. Dark primer tones.
