Benni's Nest is crafted using traditional carpentry methods from local Swiss pine in Austria. The soothing scent of the wood is well-known and fully unfolds. The nest is free from any toxins, as no chemical treatment processes (varnishing, etc.) take place. The sophisticated manufacturing process allows us to completely forgo metal and plastic parts! The special shape combined with the properties of Swiss pine creates a microclimate inside the crib and protects the baby from external noise. Especially in the first few months, babies need a lot of peace and security. Healthy sleep is particularly important for the development of babies, and in the first 6 months, babies sleep up to 16 hours a day. For this reason, great attention was paid to this period during the development of the baby cot. The size of the nest is adapted to a conventional bassinet size and can be used as a sleeping place for about 6 months, depending on the size of the baby. With the separately available attachment and the loden cover, the nest can later be transformed in an instant into a toy box, a bench, or a bedside table. This way, Benni’s Nest remains a fixed part and companion of the family.
