Instead of relying on voucher codes, MY SNOWFLAKE's Black Friday is all about a fundraising campaign for a non-profit organization that helps children and parents in need. Year after year, we seek out inspiring non-profit organizations to highlight on this day. Find out here how small actions can bring about big changes and discover stories that offer hope. 'Give Back Friday' reminds us that sharing love and resources is just as fulfilling as a shopping spree. Be part of this positive movement that touches hearts and brings good into the world.

In 2025, we will again forgo Black Friday deals & discounts and instead support the GoFundMe campaign 'Hope for Shqipe' – every order helps save her life.

Sometimes, life faces its toughest challenges. Shqipe, a young mother of two small children, has been battling acute leukemia (AML) since January 2025. She has endured everything modern medicine could throw at her: highly toxic chemotherapies, radiation, two stem cell transplants – and even a life-threatening sepsis where doctors had given up hope. Yet, Shqipe survived.
Despite all the hardships and pain, she never gave up – always thinking of her children and husband. Today, she faces her greatest trial once again: the cancer has returned.
In Switzerland, all medical options have been exhausted. The only hope lies in a novel therapy in the USA with the drug Revuforj® (Revumenib), which has already helped other patients. However, the treatment costs around 500,000 Swiss Francs and is not covered by health insurance.
While Shqipe fights for her life in the hospital, her husband Riadi bears full responsibility for the family. He cares for their young daughter and one-year-old son day and night – all while keeping hope alive.
This fundraiser is the last chance to help Shqipe recover and embrace her children again. Every donation provides not only financial support but, above all, hope, life, and love.
We invite you to be part of this special campaign – together, we can make a miracle happen.
For Shqipe. For her family. For life. Thank you for your contribution!

In 2024, we are once again foregoing the usual Black Friday bargain hunt and are instead supporting a non-profit organization. This year, we have chosen the visoparents Foundation – Family, Child, and Disability – whose valuable work in the pedagogical, special pedagogical, and therapeutic support of preschool and school-aged children we wish to support with a donation campaign.
Inclusion is lived in the inclusive daycares of the visoparents Foundation: children with and without disabilities play, learn, and discover the world together here. Every child is welcome and supported in their uniqueness. The daycares provide specially adapted infrastructure, extensive expertise, and individual support to enable all children to develop as best as possible. This specifically promotes motor and cognitive skills and strengthens social competencies.
What started as a small parents' association founded in 1963 has grown into a medium-sized organization. The visoparents Foundation has always tailored its services to the needs of families with a child with a disability to provide them with much-needed support quickly and as effectively as possible. They run various inclusive daycares and schools, accompany children with multiple disabilities, illnesses, or behavioral problems through their preschool and school years, and create an environment where children with and without disabilities can grow together and learn from each other – a community that sustainably improves the development and quality of life of every child.

This year, too, we will be holding a fundraising campaign instead of Black Friday.
We are supporting the Swiss project 'Warmth to Share'. On this online toy exchange, you can donate toys for Christmas to families in Switzerland affected by poverty. With just a few clicks, donors upload their sorted-out toys to the online toy exchange. The toy exchange is password-protected and is exclusively available to families in Switzerland affected by poverty.
On Black Friday, for every online order and every purchase in our stores, we will cover the shipping costs for a toy donation to 'Warmth to Share'.
What started with a simple idea on a forest walk developed within a few months into an online toy exchange for families in Switzerland affected by poverty. Through a toy donation appeal, it was continuously filled with a wide variety of toys for babies, toddlers, and older children. This year, it is already their third toy exchange, which they are setting up in the run-up to Christmas.
Their first fundraising campaign 'Hot water bottles for refugees on Samos' in cooperation with the FAIR association was a quick shot, but it met with so much positive feedback and support that they couldn't leave it at a one-off event. The aim of the 'Warmth to Share' association is to use simple ideas to bring some warmth to people who are having a hard time in life. They are aware that they are not (yet) changing the world, but they are at least making it a little more humane for some.

Determined and full of drive, she quickly achieves her goals. As a mother, she navigates confidently between high expectations and time pressure.
She describes herself with Alain Clark's song words: "Feet on the ground, head in the clouds." Countless thoughts and ideas harmoniously come together thanks to her order and structure.
